About Elliot Crowe

Hello, my name is Elliot Crowe, and I’m a horror writer. Before writing  novel writing, I worked as a screenwriter. My passion for storytelling began when I was a kid; for my tenth birthday, I watched the release of Bram Stoker’s Dracula in theaters, and that’s when my love for the genre was born.

My debut novel, Sag Harbor, was originally developed as a screenplay and was a finalist in the Crimson Horror Festival. This book has undergone a long journey to reach its final form. What began as a contemporary pirate ghost ship story has transformed over the past two decades into an American Gothic horror tale. While the pirates are long gone, the ghost ship continues to haunt the narrative.

In a near-future America where books are outlawed and knowledge is controlled by the authoritarian Red Party, a former librarian known only as The Librarian joins the underground resistance to preserve literature. Smuggling banned books in the form of dissolvable paper tabs that allow readers to absorb entire stories, they fight to keep the written word alive in a world that seeks to erase it.
